Knittingbag is prepared to fill requests for yarns, patterns, recommend yarn substitutions, answer technical questions regarding your knitting projects, or any other questions you may have. Most of the designs you see on Knittingbag are one-of-a-kind patterns that we design using the latest yarns from our large inventory of suppliers you may already be familiar with: Muench Yarns, Classic Elite and Rowan. Other suppliers include: Artyarns, Araucania, Blue Heron, Blue Sky Alpacas, Brown Sheep, Decadent Fibers, Debbie Bliss, Farmhouse Yarns, Filatura, Frog Tree Alpaca, Great Adirondack, Jade Sapphire Cashmere, JCA Reynolds, Jo Sharp, Karabella, Kid Hollow Farm, Lantern Moon, Maggiknits, Swedish Yarn (Hanne Falkenberg) and Tilli Tomas. 
You will see our designs change with the seasons and pick up details and styling from current fashion trends. Most of our patterns are easily adaptable to larger sizes and to yarn substitutions. The designs are classic and contemporary, easy, and are usually things you will wear over and over. For each design we swatch different yarns to find the most suitable for that particular style. We use yarns with natural fibers and a sprinkling of special novelty yarns for accents. Some of our kits are patterns selected from our favorite yarn companies like Blue Sky Alpacas, Classic Elite, Karabella and Rowan.
When you purchase a Knittingbag kit, the pattern, a photo of the garment, sufficient yarn and any optional items are included. For all orders over $100, we include a free "Pretty Cheep" project bag in your shipment. If the yarn and color choice is in stock, we usually ship within 48 hours of the first business day (Monday-Friday). If the yarn or color choice is not in stock, we notify you that your order is being processed and indicate an estimated ship date. About Me Originally from New England, I spent several years living, working and knitting in San Francisco and London, where I was introduced to the beautiful work of Kaffe Fasset, Sasha Kagan and Maggi Jackson. I'm now based in Darien, CT, where I continue to develop my knitting design skills and teach knitting classes. I'm a big fan of Sally Melville, Annie Modesitt, Nicky Epstein, Norah Gaughan and Judy Pascale, all excellent teachers who contribute so much to the world of knitting.
